De Pietri at EIMA 2026: see you in Bologna
From 10 to 14 November 2026, Bologna will once again be the international hub for the agricultural machinery sector with EIMA International, the world-renowned Exhibition of Machinery for Agriculture and Gardening.
De Pietri will also be present at the 47th edition of the trade fair, where our experts will be looking forward to meeting industry representatives, farmers and professionals and to show-casing our experience in the field of agricultural machinery for horticulture and harvesting of vegetables, officinal plants and herbs.
If you’re looking for solutions to optimize greenhouse or open-field harvesting, this is your chance to find out more about the De Pietri range and speak directly with our team.
EIMA 2026: when and where to go
EIMA International 2026 will be hosted at the Exhibition Centre of Bologna from Tuesday 10 to Saturday 14 November 2026, and will be open to the public from 9:00 am to 18:30 pm.
Organized by FederUnacoma in collaboration with BolognaFiere, the trade fair is one of the leading international events for agricultural mechanization and gardening.
The 2026 edition is structured across 14 product categories, including the one dedicated to harvesting machinery, which also includes Hall 29. EIMA also comprises a number of themed areas dedicated, amongst other things, to research and training, components, electronic technologies, energy, the agricultural machinery supply chain, gardening and irrigation.
For those in the horticultural sector, EIMA therefore provides an opportunity to learn about the technologies available, exchange views with manufacturers and industry professionals, and discover solutions tailored to the various stages of agricultural work.
De Pietri at EIMA 2026: how to find us
We look forward to meeting you at Hall 29, Stand E/9 during the five days of the fair.
Visiting our stand will be an opportunity to discuss the specific needs of your farm directly with our team and to explore the features of our various harvesting solutions in more detail.
There is no single harvesting method to suit all crops and all farms. The terrain, workspaces, type of produce, cultivation methods, harvest quantities and the organization of logistics may require different set-ups.
It is being aware of all this that gives rise to one of the guiding principles of our work: the machine must adapt to farm needs, not the other way round.
Agricultural machinery for horticulture: the De Pietri range
Driven by research, innovation and customization, and with a long history rooted in the agricultural machinery sector, De Pietri specializes in designing and manufacturing agricultural machinery for horticulture.
The range includes solutions for harvesting various types of vegetables, officinal plants and herbs, dedicated to both the fresh-cut produce sector and industrial applications.
De Pietri machines are designed to support a particularly delicate stage of the production process: harvesting.
Precise cutting and careful handling of the produce can help to preserve its quality and reduce waste, while optimizing the operations of the workforce.
Vegetable harvesters
De Pietri harvesters are designed for a variety of leafy crops, including rocket, lettuce, spinach and parsley, as well as numerous officinal plants and herbs.
The range includes machines designed for both greenhouse and open field work, featuring different configurations depending on harvesting requirements.
For example, the options include towed and self-propelled harvesters, with different drive systems and loading platform configurations.
The FRT, for example, is a towed harvester designed to operate both in greenhouses and open fields, and is particularly suitable for fresh leafy vegetables. The machine can be customized to meet specific harvesting requirements.
On the other hand, the FR 60 is a self-propelled harvester with four steering wheels, designed for harvesting vegetables, officinal plants and herbs for the fresh-cut produce sector. Here again, the configuration can be tailored to the customer’s specific requirements.
Electric harvesters
The De Pietri range also includes fully electric models.
The ECOLINE range comprises electric horticultural machinery for harvesting vegetables for the fresh-produce market, and includes models for both greenhouses and open fields.
One example is the FR 38 ECO, an electric harvester designed for crops such as lettuce, parsley, spinach, basil and sage.
This harvester features an automatic sensor-based system for adjusting the cutting height and can be customized to suit specific harvesting requirements.
Machinery for harvesting fresh-cut produce and for industry
Another of De Pietri’s key production areas is its range of harvesting solutions for fresh produce and industry crop applications.
These machines are designed to process various types of fresh vegetables, officinal plants and herbs, offering configurations suited to different production contexts.
The aim here is to provide solutions that can effectively integrate into the harvesting process, taking into account not only the crop but also the farm’s operational procedures and logistics.
Horticultural machinery tailored to farm needs
One of the key features of the De Pietri approach is the ability to customize horticultural machinery.
Customization can affect many aspects of the machine: from dimensions to bin capacity, from harvesting system to drive system, right through to the methods used to unload the produce.
Depending on requirements, the machine can be designed with wheels, tracks or towed configurations, while different solutions are available for unloading and transporting the produce. The harvesting system can also be adapted to suit the crop by using rollers, belts and conveyors.
The process after cutting can also be optimized. For example, the machines can be fitted with telescopic or side-discharge systems, whilst a sorting table can enable an initial sorting process to be carried out as the crop is harvested.
This approach stems from a very practical consideration: every farm has its own unique characteristics.
The type of terrain, whether the crop is grown in a greenhouse or in the open field, the type of vegetable, the quantity to be harvested and how the work is organized are all factors that can influence the choice of machinery.
This is why designing a bespoke solution can enable us to provide a more precise response to your farm’s operational needs.
More specifically, anyone who stops by our stand will find the following machines at the trade fair:
- FR 180, from the Ecoline range, designed specifically for open field The ideal mower/harvester that harvests vegetables and herbs for industrial applications, fitted with four steering wheels, STAGE 5 engine and an “Automotive” function that makes it extremely convenient for long journeys by road.
- RS88, our self-propelled brush cutter, designed for trimming and clearing brush and equipped with a fully enclosed cab that’s perfect for any terrain.
Why meet with De Pietri at EIMA 2026?
Visiting an international trade fair such as EIMA enables you to see and compare a wide range of technologies all in one place. But for those who are already at the next stage and are considering buying a new piece of agricultural machinery, the opportunity to speak directly with the manufacturer can be just as important.
At the De Pietri stand, you can discuss the specific requirements of your enterprise in detail and find out which type of machine would be best suited to your business.
These discussions can be particularly useful for those who are considering:
- a new vegetable harvester;
- a machine for harvesting leafy vegetables;
- harvesting solutions for rocket, lettuce, spinach, parsley and other crops;
- machines for harvesting officinal plants and herbs;
- harvesters for use in greenhouses or open fields;
- electric machinery for horticulture;
- customized solutions for specific harvesting needs;
- systems for optimizing the harvesting of fresh-cut produce or industry crops.
This is how visiting EIMA 2026 can provide an opportunity for direct dialogue with De Pietri and enable you to find out how a machine can be configured to suit your specific production process.
